Built-in uncertainty budget calculator following ISO/IEC Guide 98-3 (GUM). Per-job-item budgets with type A/B contributors, combined uncertainty, and expanded uncertainty (k=2). Automatically included in certificate PDF.
Reference Standards Traceability
Full 3-level traceability chain as required by ISO 17025 §5.6: your instrument → accredited external calibration lab → national metrology institute (NMI/BIPM). Tracks calibration dates, expiry, and certificate references.

Is the beta stable enough for production use?
Yes — the core calibration and certificate workflows are fully tested. The 'beta' label reflects ongoing UI refinements and some Pro-exclusive features still being polished. Early adopters get free upgrades to v1.0.
What happens when my license expires?
LabOS switches to read-only mode — you can view past jobs and certificates but cannot create new ones. Renew from the License Portal to restore full access.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Pro?
Yes — purchase a Pro license and activate it on the same machine. Your data carries over. Contact support if you need assistance with the upgrade.
How do I move to a new machine?
Go to the License Portal, find your license by email, and click Deactivate on the old machine. This frees the seat immediately for your new computer.
